What a Certified Stratifier actually does
A Stratifier is a working fractional executive, not a researcher. The engagement starts by training the platform on how your company really operates — profile, financial and operational health, sales and marketing maturity, competitors, market and customer voice — and benchmarking that against best practice. From there they build the strategy, cascade it into an annual plan and quarterly initiatives with owners and dates, model the business case behind the big bets, and then stay to run the weekly scorecard, the Rocks and the quarterly business review.
How listings are vetted
Nobody adds themselves. Each consultant completes a role assessment that is scored and reviewed, works through the certification curriculum, passes the exam and keeps compliance training current. Certification and availability are shown on every card, and a lapsed certification removes the listing automatically — so what you see here reflects who is genuinely current and taking clients.
Questions people ask
- What is a Certified Stratifier?
- A Certified Stratifier is an experienced fractional executive — a CMO, CRO, COO or CFO — who has passed the Stratifier role assessment and completed certification on the Stratifier method: benchmark the business, read the market and competitors, build the strategy, then run the annual, quarterly and weekly execution rhythm inside the platform.
- How does someone get listed in this directory?
- Listings are not self-serve. A consultant completes a role assessment that is reviewed and approved, finishes the certification curriculum and compliance training, then publishes a profile. Anyone whose certification lapses drops off the directory automatically.
- What does it cost to talk to a Stratifier?
- Introductory conversations are arranged directly with the Stratifier. Each one sets their own engagement model and fees; many publish a scheduling link on their profile so you can book time without a form.
- What sizes of company do Stratifiers work with?
- Most work with small and mid-sized B2B businesses — commonly manufacturers and professional-services firms — that need real strategy and disciplined execution without hiring a full-time C-suite.
- How is this different from hiring a strategy consulting firm?
- A consulting engagement usually ends with a deck. A Stratifier engagement ends with a strategy that is already wired into annual and quarterly plans, owners, Rocks, scorecard metrics and quarterly business reviews — and the same person stays to run that cadence with your team.
